Materials
We provide all basic things and entry project materials for free. For bigger projects down the line you will need to bring your own fabric. We can guide you on what kind of fabric to buy, how much of it and where. We also have a limited selection of fabrics and notions available in studio for reasonable prices.
Our studio is filled with various professional equipment that is both friendly for beginners and capable of handling complicated projects. From a variety of sewing machines* and sergers, to irons and cricuts. We also have a huge and constantly expanding library of patterns that can be adjusted for any kind of project you have in mind.
* It is always a good idea to try out different sewing machines to find the one you like before buying your own!

Our weekly 2 hour long classes are designed so you learn by making real projects right away. Avoid the most common mistakes that waste hours on YouTube - our step-by step lessons gather everything in one place, saving you time and frustration. We help students to quickly grasp even complicated techniques, and to use them immediately to create functional, beautiful, and personal projects.
Progression
First Experience
For absolute beginners. Learn how to:

Thread and operate the sewing machine

Sew straight seams, smooth curves, and sharp corners

Understand fabrics and patterns (choosing, tracing, cutting, placing properly)

Make a pillow and a simple bag
By the end, you’ll know how to use any machine and take home two finished projects.
Beginner
For students who completed our introduction or know the basics. Choose your direction:

Bags: zipper pouch or fanny pack

Soft Toys: sewing with fur and stretchy fabrics using our patterns

Simple Garments: lounge pants, A-line skirt with elastic waistband, or a basic top
Learn to sew functional, wearable, and creative items while developing accuracy and confidence.
