Cancellation Policy

Registration, Payments & Deposits Registration reserves a limited spot in our classes, camps, workshops, and programs and allows the studio to prepare staffing, scheduling, materials, and equipment in advance. If a participant is unable to attend, payments may be transferred to studio credit valid for 12 months from the original payment date. Studio credit: • may be used toward future classes, camps, workshops, or programs; • is non-transferable; • cannot be redeemed for cash. Missed classes, camp days, or workshops are non-refundable. Where possible and subject to availability, the studio may offer: • a make-up class, • transfer to another session, • or studio credit. All payments and deposits are non-refundable. Safety & Studio Rules Participants are expected to use all tools, sewing machines, scissors, irons, needles, Cricut machines, and other equipment safely and follow instructor directions at all times. Students must: • handle tools and materials responsibly; • remain attentive while using equipment; • report any injury or concern immediately; • avoid unsafe or disruptive behaviour. Unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the class, camp, or activity without refund. Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the studio of any allergies, medical conditions, or special considerations relevant to participation. Children & Supervision Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up of children. The studio is responsible for supervision only during scheduled program hours. Materials & Projects Basic materials for beginner projects are generally included unless otherwise stated. Some advanced fashion or garment projects may require additional fabric or specialty materials purchased separately. Photos & Media Lana Marc Sewing Studio may occasionally photograph or record student projects, classes, camps, or workshops for promotional and social media purposes. Parents/participants may request not to appear in photos or videos by notifying the studio in writing. Limitation of Liability Participation in sewing and creative activities involves the use of tools and equipment and carries a small risk of minor accidental injury. By participating in studio activities, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and agree that Lana Marc Sewing Studio and its instructors shall not be held liable for minor accidental injuries occurring during supervised activities.
